Year 6 have had an extremely busy year already. We have performed in the Royal Shakespeare festival; where some of the children displayed amazing talent in their production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. We have had a visit from a company called ‘Gangs against violence’ – discussing with the children the importance of staying strong and not being influenced by others. The children enjoyed our topic on WW2; following the journey of Rose Blanche and visiting The Maritime Museum where we were lucky enough to see the Polar exhibition which included our labels that we wrote in year 4, displayed alongside the artefacts. We are now anticipating our school journey to the Isle of Wight, in April; knowing that we will have a very enjoyable time whilst learning invaluable life skills.
